We believe great art is an indispensable, democratic right.

Alongside the support of our board members and the immense talent of our collaborators, we at NCTC seek to provide that right to Oregon’s underserved communities.

OUR HISTORY IS

Rooted in change.

For nearly two decades as the Northwest Classical Theatre Company, we have produced more than 60 productions of some of the world’s most beloved plays.

Today the resident acting company has been disbanded, but we still maintain the producing arm of the company. The Northwest Classical Theatre Collaborative is a new kind of co-production company, encouraging and nurturing members of Portland’s artistic community who are passionate about producing classical work.
